Roles and responsibilities
The following portfolio samples are taken from my time working as a graphic designer at Symetra in the brand development and corporate marketing department.
My roles and responsibilities included creating collateral for internal campaigns, and B2B and B2C high-end sales and marketing materials. These materials are used to support the marketing, sales and brand goals of the entire company. I supported three business divisions that each have different customer segments. This required me to be a student of each business and make sure the design collateral was in sync with the end customers needs, while adhering to the overall company branding.
Long-form PDF template
The Benefits Marketing Division required a long-form PDF combining high level data points for brokers and employers purchasing the product.

Product refresh and launch
One of the Benefits Marketing product divisions underwent an extensive content change. I refreshed and updated the design with new product hero imagery, infographics and iconography.

Newsletter template
The Benefits Product Marketing Division launched a new quarterly newsletter and email series for absence management updates. The request was for a PDF template and graphic identifier to share content with new updates to the Absence Management industry.

Mental health campaign
This is a graphic for an internal mental health campaign with the goal to promote awareness and provide resources for employees. The directive was to create a distinguished graphic to use on the internal site as well as emails, quarterly/monthly communications and articles.

Brand icon library redesign
I spearheaded this cross-functional project across UX and product marketing teams to redesign all our brand icons—over 170 specialized icons. I developed the design guidelines and tenets for any future icons to meet high digital design standards and best practices.
